Workforce Development
STCC Technology Park Scene As a workforce development partner, STCC works closely with the Economic Development Council of Western Mass., the City of Springfield, the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission, and other economic development agencies.

STCC has also been aggressively proactive in forming alliances with regional and national corporations. Located in the STCC Technology Park are:

  • The Verizon New England Next Step program, for which STCC is the lead college. This $8 million 11-college program, a partnership between Verizon and one of its unions, trains Verizon employees throughout New England in telecommunications technologies.
